THE �MASSERIA� La Corte del Sole lies on the top of a hill and offers to its guests a wonderful view over Vendicari, one of the most beautiful wildlife reserves run by WWF, a real heaven and shelter for lots of sea and terrestrial animals.Through a skiful restoration this typical Sicilian country house of the 19th century has been rebuilt by using valuable materials like the white stone from noto; the sicilian craftmade terracotta floor; the sandstone from syracuse and the old terracotta tiles for the roofs; recreating an old_style charming place:in the moddle of hte untouched nature of vendicari reserve and in a landscape full of history; like the ruins of eloro; an ancient greek city: la corte del sole offers an house of elegant hospitality; a warm and familiar place in which it is possible to feel the true sicilian atmospheres:THE ROOMS our rooms are large and in some different ways furnished: each ine has its own personality; for example some of theme have the roof with wooden beams; or in other ones the beds are made from wrought iron or antique wood or caltagirone?s pottery: this personality is well evident in the 4 Superior rooms, each one furnished with a canopy bed, in different atmospheres and colours. Some of theme are with a sea-view.Comfort is of great importance to us, for it every rooms is equipped with summer and winter air conditioning system, bathroom with shower and hair-dryer, telephone, fridge-bar, television and safe box.THE RESTAURANT Breakfast is served in the old olive and grape mill in which an intellegent restoration has been able to join the old and the new in a delighful way. This lovely place can be used as a TV room, reading room or meeting room.Small and elegant rooms make up uor restaurant, which as a wonderful veranda overlooking the famous Vendicari Wildlife Reserve. Our cusine is extremely genuine and is ispired by the old Sicilian culinary tradition and lots of its ethnic influences, as well as by the ingredients in season.Opening time: all year (closed from the 15th of January to the 15th of February). From the airport you can take the bus to Noto. By train: Route Syracuse- Noto � Ispica- Modica- Ragusa. By car: From Catania you go onto the highway nr. 114 as far as Syracuse and from there the highway nr. 115 as far as Noto. Once there please follow the signs to Noto marina.
